In April 1999, the company was established, which determined the orientation of marching into the sealing industry.

Since 2000, the company has established and effectively operated ISO9001, ISO14001 and OHSAS18001 quality, environment and safety management systems, laying a good management foundation for the company's development.            

The company has established innovation as the core driving force for BMC to take the leading position in the industry. Through the establishment of intellectual property management system, the company has promoted the creation and effective application of intellectual property achievements. 

In April 2003, the company participated in the official release of the first national standard. Since the standardization construction, the company has made great efforts to transform patents with independent intellectual property rights into technical standards, leading the formulation of one national standard and five industrial standards, successfully breaking the monopoly of foreign enterprises and successfully completing localization substitution.            

In June 2008, the company was recognized as a "high tech enterprise in Jiangsu Province", laying a technology-oriented development direction.

The independently developed nuclear grade graphite sealing gasket has been signed by the national energy administration and China Machinery Industry Federation

In June 2010, the company successfully developed bmcmmc gasket, which was first successfully used in a petrochemical reforming unit.

In December 2011, an agreement on joint R & D and industrialization cooperation between the nuclear power plant reactor cover seal ring and China Kehua was signed.

In August 2012, the sealing gasket of pressurizer and steam generator manhole of nuclear power plant passed the certification of national energy administration.

In August 2012, the first set of "high temperature and high pressure thermal cycle test bench for nuclear grade seals of megawatt PWR" in China passed the appraisal.

In September 2012, the bmcmcs multi-stage constant stress sealing gasket for the fatigue equipment of the fluidized bed hydrogenation unit cooperated with LPEC passed the technical review of the Ministry of science and technology of Sinopec.

Suzhou Baohua (BMC) was approved as "nuclear static sealing Laboratory of national energy nuclear power plant nuclear equipment research and development center".

Since 2014, Suzhou Baohua, in cooperation with Sinopec Qingdao Safety Engineering Research Institute and Sinopec Engineering Construction Co., Ltd., has carried out the "Research on anti escape seal technology and inspection platform", and obtained one invention and three utility model patent authorizations, two invention patents (under substantive examination) and international authority certifications such as iso15848, api622, Ta Luft (VDI 2440-2000).

In January 2014, the thermal hydraulic test bench for C-ring project samples, special materials and nuclear grade seals passed the appraisal of national energy administration, filling the domestic gap.

Winning the bid of Fuqing nuclear power (the first one in China) "Hualong No.1" generation III nuclear power technology all seals of units 5 and 6.

In September 2016, the reactor pressure vessel C-ring of the nuclear power plant passed the engineering verification of Yangjiang nuclear power unit 4.

n May 2017, the independently developed elastic sealing technology passed the review of the sealing technology scheme of "composite seal high pressure heat exchanger" for the localization development project of Sinopec major equipment.

In June 2017, the review meeting of "Application of C-type sealing ring of reactor pressure vessel and metal graphite pad unit of steam generator and pressurizer in charging operation stage" was held successfully, which laid a solid foundation for nuclear power sealing to replace imported products in an all-round way.

In May 2018, the development and application of micro leakage static seal won the first prize of excellent paper in 2018 Sinopec leakage management symposium, marking the leading position of anti escape technology in the industry.

In September 2018, the provincial innovation platform of "Jiangsu VOC anti escape sealing engineering research center" applied by the company was approved by Jiangsu development and Reform Commission.

The approval of the provincial engineering research center is an affirmation of the company's innovation ability, and it has set a goal for realizing the company's innovation and R & D once again.

In May 2019, Suzhou Baohua was awarded a five-star supplier by CGNPC in the field of nuclear power operation, which is the highest honor awarded by CGNPC.

In July 2019, the results review meeting of "C-ring and steam generator, pressurizer metal graphite pad engineering application of reactor pressure vessel" was successfully held in Suzhou. The "C-ring" jointly developed by Suzhou Baohua and China Nuclear Research Institute lasted for 9 years successfully achieved commercial operation and development in the primary reactor pressure vessel, steam generator and pressurizer of Yangjiang nuclear power plant 5 unit nuclear island Electric application has completely broken the monopoly of foreign countries, realized 100% localization from raw materials, processes, manufacturing, testing, bench, etc., and made contribution to the safety development of nuclear power.

In August, the 2019 National Conference on the prevention and control of volatile organic compounds (VOCs) pollution and 2019 national VOCs Pollution Prevention and control technology and Equipment Expo was held in Kunshan City, Jiangsu Province. General manager Ma of Suzhou Baohua was invited to make a special speech - "leakage sealing and online monitoring technology of key components in petrochemical enterprises". This paper introduces the comprehensive solution and implementation case of VOCs control and governance of Baohua. Through the research and development of anti escape seal and online monitoring technology, the "source control" is realized, which provides a new technical direction for petrochemical enterprises to solve the leakage problem.

2019 Valve World Asia Expo and seminar was held in Shanghai World Expo exhibition hall in August. On August 29, as a member of the science and Technology Expert Committee of China Valve Association, President Ma Baohua of Suzhou was invited to give a special speech on "research and application of new escape sealing technology" in the special field of "escape leakage", introducing the latest technology progress and settlement scheme of escape leakage control.
