1.Numerical Value Magnitude

First is the numerical value magnitude. Many people only look at the compression rate or rebound rate individually, but in fact, these two are mutually constrained. What truly needs to be evaluated is the rebound amount, which is calculated as the product of the initial thickness, compression rate, and rebound rate. This is the key indicator reflecting the actual compensation capacity of the gasket.

2.Curve Slope

Second is the curve slope, with emphasis on the recovery curve of the unloading segment. A larger slope indicates greater elastic compensation capacity of the gasket, smaller stress loss of the gasket, better adaptability to the cyclic action of loads, and thus better sealing stability.
